Nathan Lawson, Ph.D.

I arrived at UMass in 2002 after finishing my postdoctoral work in Brant Weinstein's lab at the NIH. Prior to that, I received my Ph.D. from Yale University in 1999.

In general, I have always been interested in the process of differentiation. In recent years I have applied this interest to how different cell fates arise during blood vessel development. I am particularly interested in the transcriptional control of this process.
