Masahiro Shin



Masahiro received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Tokyo Metropolitan University and worked as a post-doc in the laboratory of Dr. Guojun Sheng at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology where he studied the role of Notch signaling in early blood and vessel formation. He joined the Lawson Lab in 2009 as an Uehara Postdoctoral Fellow. Masahiro is currently applying zinc finger nuclease technology to generate zebrafish knockouts and interrogate the function of GEF proteins in vascular development.
